Helen Hollyman is a food writer, editor, cookbook author, and brand strategist. She’s the founding Editor-in-Chief of MUNCHIES, the world’s first global Millennial food website and digital media channel from VICE Media. Hollyman launched eight international editions of the James Beard award-winning culture site, co-wrote the MUNCHIES cookbook, and was host of the award-winning MUNCHIES: The Podcast.
In 2018, she launched her own international digital media consulting company, Helen Hollyman Inc., specializing in digital strategy for food, beverage, travel, and lifestyle.
She’s a former cook, truffle dealer, and radio host. Helen Hollyman got her start at Food & Wine Magazine and has worked under award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi at Momofuku Milk Bar and food writers Mark Bittman and Amanda Hesser. She has written for a variety of publications, including GQ, VICE, Refinery 29, Bon Appétit, Saveur, and Time Out Magazine. Originally from Austin, Texas, Hollyman currently lives in Brooklyn.
